No. 14 Women’s Squash Falls at No. 4 Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 14 Drexel women's squash team (1-4) dropped its Thursday night match at the No. 4 Princeton Tigers (4-0) by a final of 9-0 from the Jadwin Squash Courts in Princeton, N.J.
Drexel forced two five-game matches from the top-two slots in the Tiger sweep.
Junior Ryan Morgan lost in the No. 1 spot but battled with Princeton's Lindsey Scott. The pair exchanged wins as Scott took the first and third games while Morgan grabbed the second and fourth to force a fifth. Scott came out on top in the fifth, 11-7, to win with a final of 11-8, 7-11, 11-7, 10-12, 11-7.
Senior Mary Fung-A-Fat also fell in her match but similarly played a back-and-forth match with Isabel Hirshberg of the No. 4 Tigers. In the same fashion as Morgan's match, Fung-A-Fat won the second and fourth games, forcing a final game that favored Hirshberg as she won by a 11-7, 7-11, 11-8, 7-11, 11-5 final.
The women return to the court at No. 15 Middlebury in Middlebury, Vt. on Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. before closing out the 2016 portion of the schedule on Saturday, Dec. 3 in Williamstown, Mass. at No. 11 Williams.
