A LOOK AT THE NO. 9 DREXEL MEN
The Dragons closed out the year with a strong home performance that earned the squad a 5-4 victory over the No. 8 Columbia Lions. The Lions held onto the No. 8 spot in most recent ranking which pushed Columbia into the Potter Cup, leaving the Dragons as the top seed in the Hoehn Cup. Last year, Drexel was the No. 12 seed in the Hoehn Cup and will be the No. 9, top seed in the draw this time around.
Following Friday's matchup against Brown, the men will play either No. 12 Franklin & Marshall or No. 13 Princeton on Saturday at either 2:30 p.m. if they win on Friday or 9 a.m. if they fall in the first round.
The men, riding a five-match winning streak, bring a 12-4 overall record into the Hoehn Cup for the most wins in the season in the program's fifth season.
The Dragons are 1-1 against Brown all-time with the 5-4 win coming on the road back on December 7, 2013. The loss came in the Dragons' inaugural 2011-12 campaign.
Drexel has also already earned a 5-4 decision over then No. 8 Princeton this year back on December 1 and then No. 9 Franklin & Marshall, 8-1, to open the 2015-16 season.
A LOOK AT THE NO. 10 DREXEL WOMEN
The women, ranked as high as No. 9 on the season, earned the No. 10 seed for team nationals, placing them in the B Division Kurtz Cup with a first round draw against No. 15 Middlebury on Friday at 6 p.m.

Last season, the women moved to the consolation bracket of the Kurtz Cup after falling in the first round to Stanford. The Dragons defeated Franklin & Marshall in the consolation semifinals but never played in the consolation finals after the match was cancelled due to inclement weather.
