No. 9 Women’s Squash Falls Friday to No. 6 Yale, 8-1

PHILADELPHIA — The No. 9 Drexel women's squash team dropped its match Friday evening to No. 6 Yale at the Kline & Specter Squash Center, 8-1. The Dragons fall to 1-4 in the early going.
Hannah Blatt came away with the Dragons' sole victory at No. 4 on the day. The freshman defeated Aishwarya Battacharya, 11-2, 12-10, 7-11, 11-7, to continue the strong start to her collegiate career. Hayley Hughes nearly came back from two games down against Celine Yeap at No. 2, but ultimately fell, 11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 11-13, 11-7.
The Dragons continue their weekend's action on Sunday morning when they host Williams at Kline & Specter Squash Center.
