Kelly Wins Molloy West Consolation Finals to Close Squash Individual Championships

HANOVER, N.H. – Junior Atticus Kelly won the Molloy Division West consolation finals at the 2017 Individual Championships in Hanover, N.H. on Sunday with a dramatic five-game victory over Williams' John Fitzgerald to end the Dragons' season on a high note.

Kelly lost the first and fourth games against Fitzgerald but pulled out the win in the fifth for the 7-11, 11-7, 11-9, 8-11, 13-11 final.

Fellow junior Luke Willemse played in the Molloy Division East consolation finals on Sunday morning but fell to Navy's Senen Ubina. WIllemse won the first and third games to take a 2-1 lead in the match. But Ubina won the fourth and fifth games in extras though as he took the match from Willemse, 8-11, 11-5, 8-11, 17-15, 13-11.
