No. 9 Men's Squash Bounces Back Saturday at No. 13 Navy, 8-1

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The No. 9 Drexel men's squash team bounced back Saturday afternoon with an 8-1 win at No. 13 Navy in Annapolis, Md. With the win, the Dragons improve to 3-6 on the season.
While the final score shows a decisive Drexel win, the Dragons had their hands full all afternoon with the Midshipmen. Of the eight wins, only one match was a three-game sweep. Lucas Rousselet settled into the top position with a five-game win over Jack Herald, 11-9, 9-11, 11-6, 5-11, 11-9. Atticus Kelly, comfortable in the No. 2 spot, downed Michael Kacergis in four, 11-2, 11-3, 9-11, 11-7, followed by Bransten Ming powering past Jack Lentz, 11-9, 8-11, 11-9, 11-7. Freshman Dylan Kachur made an impressive run, coming back from down two games to zero to beat Owen Davis at No. 4, 6-11, 7-11, 11-9, 11-8, 11-8. At No. 5, Nat Fry dropped the first game but came back to move past Dylan Sweeney, 9-11, 12-10, 11-9, 11-8, followed by Joshua Hughes' sweep of Jamie Kjorlien, 11-7, 11-2, 11-9. Cillian Dunne then downed Greg Hyer at No. 8, 11-6, 11-7, 7-11, 11-9, followed by Mostafa Abouel Makarim earning his second win of the week, this one over Abe Patriolo, 12-14, 11-6, 12-10, 11-5.
The Dragons return to action Sunday afternoon when they rejoin the women's team in Philadelphia to host Franklin & Marshall at the Kline & Specter Squash Center.
