Rowing Completes Racing Sunday Morning at Princeton Chase

RESULTS

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Drexel rowing team completed competition Sunday morning at the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie. The men's varsity eight A highlighted the Dragons' day with an 11th-place finish.

Racing in the Lois Krall II boat, the men's varsity eight A took 11th out of 32 boats with a time of 13:37.558. Princeton A won with the only sub 13-minute time of 12:54.598. The Dragons B, in the Sandra Lee Sheller II boat, took 21st, and the C, in the Lois Krall boat, finished 31st.

The women's varsity eight A, in the Alleva XVII boat, finished 28th out of 46 boats with a time of 16:22.344. Princeton A turned in an impressive 14:44.560. Drexel B finished 34th in the Cara Fry boat, and the Drexel C took 44th in the Maria Papadakis boat.

The Dragons close out the fall season on Nov. 10 at the Frostbite Regatta on Mercer Lake.
