Rowing Wins Four Events on Saturday Against La Salle, Villanova

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's and women's rowing teams finished up on the Schuylkill River on Saturday. The Dragons faired well as they opened the spring with wins in four of five races against local schools La Salle and Villanova.

Led by the first varsity, in the Lois Krall II, and the second varsity, in the Sandra Lee Sheller II, the Dragons finished first and second in the Men's Varsity 8+. The 1V came in at 5:48.9 with the 2V at 5:49.8.

In the Women's Varsity 8+ event, the first varsity, in the Alleva XVII, and the second varsity, in the Cara Fry, also placed first and second with times of 6:32.8 and 6:41.8.
