The award recognizes athletic accomplishments and dedication to strength and conditioning while maintaining academic prominence. The four Dragons were nominated by Drexel Director Strength and Conditioning Michael Rankin and Drexel Strength and Conditioning assistants Anthony McCloskey and Brigita Roemer.
Dickerson, a senior from Norcross, Ga., whose stroke is the freestyle, swam in six meets for Drexel in the 2017-18 season. A CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient in 2017, Dickerson posted season bests of 4:47.20 in the 500 free, 9:59.50 in the 1000 free, and 16:44.53 in the 1650 free.
