Women's Tennis Gears Up for Weekend on the Road

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel women's tennis returns to action this weekend with two away matches against Uconn and Yale. The Dragons will open the weekend against Uconn with a 5 p.m. match on Friday, Feb. 1 before closing out the weekend with a noon match on Saturday against Yale.

Last Time Out
Drexel women's tennis fell to Penn on Wednesday afternoon at the Hecht/Hamlin Center, 6-1. The Dragons only point of the match came from Ghita Benhadi at No. 3 singles. For the full release and a list of results, click here.
Scouting UConn
UConn opened their spring season over the weekend at Dartmouth, falling to the Brown Bears, 6-1, and to the host Big Green, 7-0. The Huskies are now 1-2 for the spring season
Scouting Yale
Yale fell in a tight one to Boston College (4-0) early Sunday afternoon, ending their weekend with a split after beating Fordham on Friday. With the split, the Bulldogs are now 1-1 heading into their match against the Dragons.
All-Time Series
This will be the first meeting between the Dragons and both teams.

The Dragons will continue action on the road when they travel to Seton Hall for a 1 p.m. match on Saturday, Feb. 9.
