Women’s Soccer Falls at JMU, 3-0

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Drexel women's soccer allowed three goals to James Madison on the final day of Colonial Athletic Association action at Sentara Park in Harrisonburg, Va. The win pushes the Dukes (7-11-1, 4-4-1 CAA) into the conference tournament.
The Dragons (5-10-3, 1-7-1) forced the first save of the game in the seventh minute, but Ginger Deel gave James Madison a 1-0 lead just after the nine-minute mark. A tally from Mia Pham in the 42nd minute doubled the Dukes' advantage just before halftime.
The Dragons conceded again just inside the hour.
For the game, Drexel tallied six shots and hit the target four times. In addition, the Dragons earned four corners in 90 minutes. Melissa Lyon took a team-high two shots and tested JMU goalkeeper Hannah McShea both times.
Libbya Baeza made seven saves in 78:27 of action. Miyuki Schoyen made her first appearance in over a month – playing the final 11:33 in goal and stopping two shots.
