Men's Tennis Earns Victory Against Villanova, 6-1

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel men's tennis cruised to a 6-1 victory against Villanova on Friday morning at the Legacy Center to improve its record to 4-4 overall.

The Dragons picked up the doubles points with two wins in the No. 1 and No. 3 spot. Sinan Orhon and Gustav Wogen defeated Tyler Roth and Thomas Dodson, 6-4, while Youssef Lahlou and Juan Manuel Sanchez teamed up to beat Dylan Flanagan and Charlie Schuls, 6-1.

Orhon, Lahlou and Xandy Hammitt won in straight sets against their opponents while Sanil Jagtiani and Gustav Wogen battled through three sets. Jagtiani defeated Tyler Roth, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in the No. 2 spot while Wogen took down Charlie Schuls in the No. 5 spot, 6-4, 2-6, 10-2.

The Dragons will return to action on Sunday, Feb. 17 when they take on NJIT in Newark, N.J. at 11 a.m.
