Hammit Clinches Match in 5-2 Win Against NJIT

PHILADELPHIA - Xandy Hammitt clinched the match in the No. 4 spot as the Drexel men's tennis team defeated NJIT, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon.
NJIT got the doubles point with wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 spot, however, the Dragons fought hard to claim five spots for the victory. Sanil Jagtiani, Youssef Lahlou and Gustav Wogen all won in straight sets while Hammitt battled through three sets for the win.
Drexel will return to action when they return to action on Friday, Feb. 22 when it travels to George Washington for a 12 p.m. match.
