PITTSBURGH – The Drexel wrestling team is set to send redshirt senior Joey Goodhart, redshirt junior Ebed Jarrell, redshirt sophomore Parker Kropman and redshirt senior Stephen Loiseau to the 2019 NCAA Championships in Pittsburgh, Pa. from March 21-23. Actions begins on Thursday from PPG Paints Arena. Coverage will be available on ESPNU in the mornings and ESPN in the evenings with matchups also airing on ESPN3.
DRAGONS HEADED TO NCAA TOURNEY
Kropman, a 149-pound at-large selection, makes his first trip to NCAAs as the No. 30 seed and faces No. 3 seed Mitch Finesilver of Duke. Jarrell, a 165-pound automatic qualifier and four-place finisher at the EIWA Championships, begins his first NCAA appearance as the No. 12 seed and will face No. 21 seed Te'shan Campbell of Ohio State. Loiseau, a 197-pound automatic qualifier and third-place finisher at the EIWA Championships, enters his second NCAA appearances as the No. 17 seed against No. 16 seed Josh Hokit of Fresno State. Goodhart, a heavyweight automatic qualifier and third-place finisher at the EIWA Championships, heads back to the NCAA Championships for the third time of his career. He goes in as the No. 18 seed and will open against No. 15 seed Tate Orndorff of Utah Valley.

ESPN's coverage of the NCAA Championships returns with the annual event's three prime-time sessions airing on ESPN, its early sessions on ESPNU and every one of the 640 matches available on ESPN3 via the ESPN App. The nearly 20 hours of competition from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh begins Thursday, March 21, continues Friday, March 22, and concludes with the sport's final day on Saturday, March 23. This year, ESPN3 will add a postgame show to its previously existing pregame show and complementary Championship night coverage, serving fans with even more content on the sport's pinnacle night.
