PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's and women's tennis teams wrapped up their regular seasons on Sunday with a pair of 6-1 victories over rival Delaware. The Dragons got the wins on Senior Day, as Sinan Orhon and Anisiya Simpson played the final matches of their careers at the Vidas Courts.
Orhon and Simpson both netted a pair of victories on the day, earning wins in both singles and doubles matches. Orhon stands as the program's all-time leader in victories in both men's and women's singles and doubles play.
The Dragons won all six singles matches on the men's side after dropping the doubles point. The women got the doubles point, winning two of the three matches where the men had dropped two of the three. They proceeded to nab five of the six singles points available to secure the victory.
Both teams now will turn their attentions to postseason play, where they will begin CAA Championships action at Elon on Wednesday.
