Women’s Basketball Travels to Delaware on Sunday

NEWARK, Del. – The Drexel University women's basketball team (17-6, 10-1 CAA) makes the trip down to Newark, Del. to face the University of Delaware Blue Hens (9-13, 5-6 CAA) from the Bob Carpenter Center on Sunday, Feb. 16. Action tips at 1 p.m. and is available to watch on NBC Sports Philadelphia in addition to streaming on FloHoops. LOOKING AT THE DRAGONS
Drexel is 10-1 in CAA games and in first place at the top of the conference standings. DU recently defeated Hofstra and Northeastern on the road last weekend. The Dragons are now 17-6 on the year and riding a season-best 10-game winning streak.
Averaging 18.2 points per game in 2019-20, Greenberg leads the Dragons, ranks fourth in the conference and sits 39th in the nation. The North Wales, Pennsylvania native became the seventh Dragon to record 1,600 career points with the program and now sits in fifth place on the Drexel's all-time scoring list with 1,647 points. She has finished in double figures in 21 of 23 contests in 2019-20 and has eight games scoring 20+ including three games of 30+.
The Dragons won 24 games last year, the third consecutive season in which the program has won at least 20 games. Drexel advanced to its second consecutive CAA championship game and earned a bid to the WNIT, its 10th postseason appearance in the last 11 years.
Head coach Denise Dillon (Villanova '96) is in the midst of her 17th season with Drexel and owns a 323-210 record in her career and at the school.

Delaware is 9-13 on the year and 5-6 in conference play. The Blue Hens have struggled at home, going 3-5 at the Bob Carpenter Center. UD is on a three-game winning streak which included road wins at Northeastern and Hofstra last weekend.
#24 Nicole Enabosi leads Delaware, averaging 17.1 points per game. #20 Jasmine Dickey has 10 double-doubles on the year to lead the CAA and rank 31st in the country.
The Blue Hens went 16-15 a year ago including a 11-7 mark in league play.
Head coach Natasha Adair is in her eighth season as a head coach and her third with the Blue Hens. Adair is 116-126 all-time and 44-41 at Delaware.
