Knudsen, Rousselet Named Second Team All-Americans

PHILADELPHIA – Matias Knudsen and Lucas Rousselet were named second team all-Americans by the College Squash Association, the governing body announced on Tuesday.
Knudsen went 8-0 in the No. 2 position on the ladder in an injury-shortened season and is now 21-6 all-time. The sophomore dropped just one game out of 25 and collected wins over fellow all-Americans Matthew Toth, Nadav Raziel and Aly Abou El Einen.
Rousselet played exclusively at the top position, going 7-5 in an injury-abbreviated campaign. The senior notched wins against first team all-Americans Veer Chotrani and Spencer Lovejoy.
Both Knudsen and Rousselet picked up all-American honors for the second time in their respective careers. Rousselet was a second-teamer in 2017-18, and Knudsen featured on the second team last season. They are the third and fourth Drexel men's squash players to receive multiple all-American nods in their careers.
A total of four Dragons received CSA All-American recognition this season. Karina Tyma and Alina Bushma locked in all-American status at the CSA Individual Championships earlier in the month. It is the greatest number of total all-Americans in a season at Drexel.
