Drexel Defeats Princeton, 6-3

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel Dragons defeated the No. 6 Princeton Tigers on Saturday afternoon, 6-3.
In the first position, Nico Serna fought back after being down 2-0 against Hollis Robertson before ultimately losing 3-2. Second was Guido Lindner who had a clean 3-0 sweep against Avi Agarwal. Luhann Groenewald battled Aly Ibrahim in the third position but fell 3-1. Youssef Bastawy played two close points before pulling away in with a 3-1 win in the fourth. The fifth position saw Yuri Pelbart losing to Andrew Glaser 3-1 in a series of close points. Charlie Taylor, Thiago Cabrejos and Tavneet Mundra all had 3-0 sweeps in their respective positions before Darien Benn sealed the win, beating Mason Menin 3-1.
Drexel's next match is set for December 1, as the Dragons head down 33rd Street to take on the top-rated Penn Quakers in a city rivalry meeting.
