Men's Squash Wraps 3-1 Weekend with Win Against No. 26 Dickinson

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 5 Drexel University men's squash team wrapped a 3-1 opening weekend with a 9-0 victory against No. 26 Dickinson at the Kline and Specter Squash Center on Sunday afternoon.
Opening the afternoon for the Dragons, Shaan Dalal won his match at number eight, 11-6, 11-3, 11-4. At number six, Filip Krueger took an 11-1, 11-2, 11-3 victory. Also in the first rotation, Fritiof Jacobsson claimed an 11-4, 11-2, 8-11, 11-6 final in the fourth spot and Haris Qasim topped Omar Ali 11-6, 11-1, 11-5 at number two.
The second rotation saw Jose Lopez make quick work of his opponent at number seven with an 11-1, 11-3, 11-7 win. Noel Heaton did the same in the fifth spot, winning 11-2, 11-3, 11-2. Michael Berry swept the ninth position with a 11-3, 11-2, 11-5 victory. At number one, Lucas Rousselet fended off a first game challenge to win 12-10, 11-4, 11-6. The third position had Dylan Kachur taking his match 11-7, 11-3, 11-8.
Next up, the Dragons battle No. 15 Williams on Saturday, November 20 at the Kline and Specter Squash Center. Match time is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
