No. 5 Men's Squash Shuts Out No. 16 Amherst

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 5 Drexel University men's squash team wrapped its weekend schedule with a 9-0 win against No. 16 Amherst on Sunday morning at the Kline and Specter Squash Center.
At number five, Noel Heaton continued his strong season with an 11-7, 11-6, 11-6 win. That was quickly followed by a victory for Filip Krueger in the sixth spot, 11-4, 11-2, 11-9. Dylan Kachur picked up an 11-5, 11-4, 11-3 win at number four and Jose Lopez won 11-0, 11-2, 11-3 at number seven. Claiming the overall match for the Dragons was Haris Qasim who won 11-5, 11-3, 11-3 at number two.
In the eighth spot, Shaan Dalal needed four games to down his opponent 11-6, 11-4, 6-11, 11-5. Lucas Rousselet won in the number one spot 11-5, 11-3, 11-3 while Fritiof Jacobsson took an 11-4, 11-4, 11-2 decision at number three. Finishing the match, Michael Berry won 11-3, 11-7, 11-6 in the ninth spot.
The Dragons return to action two weekends from now with a match at Columbia on Friday, December 3 at 4:00 p.m.
