Dragons Set to Host the 54th Annual Kerr Cup Regatta

PHILADELPHIA, PA- This Saturday, Apr. 17, the Drexel University men's and women's rowing teams will host the 54^th Annual Kerr Cup Regatta on the Schuylkill River.

The Kerr Cup was established by Drexel alumni in 1967 to honor the late Dr. Thomas Kerr Jr., former rowing coach for the Dragons. Kerr began the rowing program in 1957 and coached until 1968.

The women will face Temple University, Villanova University, Washington College, the University of Pennsylvania, Jefferson University and Cabrini University.

The men are set to compete against Temple University, Washington College, the University of Pennsylvania and Saint Joseph's University.
