WILLIAMSBURG, Va.– Eline Di Leva scored the game-winner in the third minute of overtime, lifting the Drexel field hockey team to a 1-0 victory over No. 20 William & Mary on Sunday afternoon. It is Drexel's first triumph over a ranked opponent since 2015 when it defeated No. 14 Delaware at Buckley Field.

BY THE NUMBERS

The Dragons had not won against the Tribe since 2015.
DU's defense held W&M to two shots in its second shutout of the season.
Di Leva's goal was her second game-winner this year.
Cailey Lever earned her second assist of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Dragons defense blocked the first shot of the game from the Tribe in the 20^th minute of play.
In the second quarter, Drexel forced its first set of opportunities with three penalty corners but failed to score on three shots on goal.
At the end of regulation, the contest was scoreless.
In the third minute of OT, Lever sent the ball up field to Di Leva who beat the Tribe goalie and defender as she fell forward and scored her sixth goal of the season in sudden victory.
