Dragons Upended By No. 2 Penn

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 7 Drexel men's squash team earned early victories, but the Dragons were handed their first loss of the season, 7-2 by No. 2 Penn in the Pennsylvania State Squash Championship finals on Sunday afternoon.
With the Quakers leading 1-0, Drexel rallied for the next two points as at number one, Matias Knudsen claimed an 11-4, 11-4, 11-7 victory against Roger Alber Baddour. In the sixth position, Yuri Pelbart took an 11-7, 12-10, 11-13, 11-9 win versus Saksham Choudhary.
Penn followed by winning the final six points. The Dragons' best chance after the hot start came at number two where Haris Qasim was outlasted in five games.
Drexel returns to action on Friday, December 2 when it takes on No. 9 Columbia in its home opener. First serve from the Kline & Specter Squash Center is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
