PHILADELPHIA - Drexel and La Salle renew their rivalry on Saturday afternoon in Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center. It will be the first meeting between the two schools since December of 2000, The game can be seen live on the USA Network. The 2022-23 men's basketball season is presented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98.

The Dragons are 4-5 this season after suffering an 83-63 loss to Princeton last Saturday. Lamar Oden, Jr. scored 16 points and was 4-for-7 from deep to lead Drexel. Jamie Bergens came off the bench to score 12 points. Earlier in the week, Drexel defeated Lafayette at the Daskalakis Athletic Center, 64-56. Coletrane Washington led three player in double figures with 18 points.
Amari Williams is off to a good start for Zach Spiker's team. He leads the team with 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds. The junior also leads the club with 16 steals and 14 blocked shots. Washington is right behind Williams with 12.1 points per game. He leads the team in 3-point percentage at .396. Oden, Jr. is also in double figures with 10.7 points per game. He is shooting .370 from long range.
About La Salle
The Explorers are now 5-4 in Fran Dunphy's first season behind the bench after defeating Bucknell on Tuesday night. They have now won three of their last four games. Khalil Brantley and Josh Nickelberry form a solid 1-2 punch as each player averages just under 13 points per game. Nickelberry is the team's top long-range threat with 22 3-pointers. Jhamir Brickus shoots almost 50 percent from behind the arc.
