No. 8 Men's Squash Opens Postseason Run

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 8 Drexel University men's squash team opened its third ever Potter Cup appearance on Friday afternoon, falling to the No. 1 Penn Quakers 9-0.
Drexel battled throughout the match, sending three of the contests to five games. Arguably the most exciting tilt of the day came at number five where Dylan Kachur rallied from an 0-2 hole to force a fifth game before Nathan Tze Bing Kueh 11-8, 11-3, 3-11, 8-11, 11-9 prevailed in a match that took an hour and 16 minutes. The first point of the decider was an epic tangle that took nearly eight minutes on its own.
At number two, Matias Knudsen was edged out by Aly Abou El Einen 7-11, 11-2, 11-13, 11-8, 11-6. In the fourth position, Fritiof Jacobsson took Dillon Huang to five games with a 11-9, 7-11, 11-1, 7-11, 11-7 score line.
Continuing its postseason run, Drexel now faces No. 5 Princeton on Saturday, February 19 at 11:30 a.m.
