
No. 9 Men's Squash Celebrates Senior Day Against No. 5 Princeton

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 9 Drexel University men's squash team battled into the late match stages before falling to the No. 5 Princeton Tigers 5-4 on Wednesday evening on Senior Day.
Prior to the match, the Dragons honored Dylan Kachur, Lucas Rousselet, and Emil Snyman for their efforts with the men's squash program.
Trailing 1-0, Jose Lopez drew the Dragons even with an 11-13, 11-1, 12-10, 11-8 win at number six. The next two matches went down to the wire with both going five games before the Tigers prevailed in each.
After falling behind 4-1, Drexel rallied as Matias Knusden defeated Karim Elbarbary 11-4, 11-13, 11-5, 11-1 in the second spot and Kachur took an 11-5, 11-2, 11-6 decision against Thomas Rosini at number five. Also earning a point for DU was Noel Heaton in the seventh position who earned a 7-11, 11-9, 12-10, 11-7 victory versus Alastair Cho.
Drexel returns to action on Saturday, February 12 when it travels to Ithaca, N.Y. to take on Cornell at noon and Saint Lawrence at 4:00 p.m.
