Dragons Fall to St. John's, 6-1

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team fell to the St. John's Red Storm on Saturday afternoon, 6-1. The Dragons fall to 7-3 after the loss in Queens, N.Y.
Drexel picked up its lone point in the fourth-seeded singles match. Matvey Radionov battled his opponent to a two-set victory, including a two-point tiebreaker.
"We have been working hard and it's showing in our results," head coach Mehdi Rhazali said. "We are focusing on tactical details that we are improving on them so much. Now our attention is turned towards recovery and being injury free so we can take advantage of having our full roster and compete the way we want. We look forward to the outdoor season and continue to grow as a team."
Drexel travels to Williamsburg, Va. on March 22 to take on the Tribe and begin a lengthy road trip. It will be the first match of seven that the Dragons will be away from Vidas Courts. The match against William & Mary will begin at 4 p.m.
