Women's Tennis to Compete in 2022 CAA Championships

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's tennis team travels to Elon, N.C. on Friday, April 29, to face the third-seeded Delaware Blue Hens in the quarterfinals of the 2022 CAA Championships.
ABOUT #6 DREXEL
Drexel enters the championship tournament winning the last three of five games. The Dragons are currently on a two-match win streak, starting with their 6-1 victory over the Hofstra Pride on April 16. Drexel ended its season with a 6-1 victory over Saint Joseph's on April 20.
Lorie Lemongo has led the Dragons in the No. 1 singles match and has had a very successful season, winning 17 solo and 11 paired up in the first-seeded singles match.
ABOUT #3 DELAWARE
The Blue Hens concluded the regular season with a 18-5 record and 3-2 conference tab. The most notable matches in their schedule are against No. 1 Charleston and No. 2 William & Mary. Delaware lost both matches, 4-3. Delaware defeated the Dragons on April 15 in Neawark, Del., 6-1
