PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel University athletic department announced that women's tennis head coach Anne Marie Devlin is stepping down from her position, effective June 30, to pursue other interests.
"On behalf of Drexel Athletics, I'd like to thank Anne Marie for her efforts with the program during the past four seasons, the last three as the head coach," said Director of Athletics, Maisha Kelly. "She has overseen a period of growth for our program, both on the court and in the classroom, and helped set us up for the future."
In three seasons with Devlin at the helm, four players earned All-CAA recognition, the Dragons had a player advance to the Sweet 16 of the ITA Super Regionals, and won their first Cissie Leary Invitational doubles championship. Academically, Drexel posted a 3.64 team GPA for the spring term.
The search for a new coach will begin immediately.
