CHARLESTON, S.C. - Kylie Kutz scored the only goal of the second half five minutes into the frame, lifting the Drexel women's soccer team to a 3-2 Colonial Athletic Association win at the College of Charleston on Thursday night. The victory extends the Dragons unbeaten streak to nine games in a row to start the season, improving the team to 6-0-3 overall.

BY THE NUMBERS

The nine-match unbeaten streak is the third longest to open a season in CAA history.
Drexel remains one of 20 teams without a loss in NCAA Division I.
Anna Salvucci, Annalena O'Reilly and Kutz all scored for the Dragons. It was the fourth of the year for O'Reilly and the first each for Salvucci and Kutz.
Lily Dunbar had a pair of assists in a game for the second time this season. She now has four helpers on the year, tied for third in the CAA.
Gabrielle Perrotto contributed on the offensive end with her first assist of the season.
In goal, Drexel combined to make five saves as Alexis Dooley stopped four shots and Molly Piso turned aside one.

HOW IT HAPPENED

For the fifth time in nine matches this season, the Dragons got on the board in the first 10 minutes as Salvucci sent the ball lower left, coming off a feed from Perrotto.
After the Cougars responded, Drexel took the lead back before halftime as Dunbar set up O'Reilly, who found the back of the net with a right footed strike to the lower left of the cage.
Coming out of intermission, DU once again scored as Kutz put the Dragons on top 3-2 with the help of Dunbar's second assist of the game.
