Dragons Upended By Towson In Tight Matchup

PHILADELPHIA – Kailey Horton sent home the equalizer in the 65th minute, but a late Towson goal dealt the Dragons their first setback of the season, 2-1 at Vidas Field on Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers cracked the scoreboard initially in the 29th minute on a through ball that left the Towson forward open in the box.
- In the second half, Drexel tied the contest as the ball was sent in from the right side. The ball bounced around the mixer before O'Reilly touched it down to Horton who tapped it into the lower left corner.
- Towson came back, scoring off a free kick at the top of the 74th minute.
- The Dragons had one more chance late as they were awarded a penalty with 2:50 remaining, but the Tigers keeper guessed right and came away with a sprawling stop.
