PHILADELPHIA- Drexel looks for its first EIWA victory in its home opener on Friday, January 13 when Binghamton comes to the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The Dragons are looking for redemption after a tough setback last season against the Bearcats. DU enters the bout ranked No. 25 in Intermat's team tournament rankings.
Due to unforeseen maintenance issues in the Daskalakis Athletic Center, the match location was changed to the Recreation Gymnasium.
About Drexel
The Dragons return two national qualifiers in Evan Barczak and Mickey O'Malley, the redshirt-senior is the defending EIWA Champion at 174 lbs. Drexel is coming off an upset victory over No. 20 Purdue and Utah Valley on December 20th. This is DU's first victory over a ranked opponent since February 4, 2018 against No. 21 Rider.
