- Jasmine Valentine scored six and led the Dragons with six rebounds.
- Maura Hendrixson led DU with eight assists and became the sixth player in program history with 400+ dimes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a slow start for Drexel who shot 6-for-18 in the opening quarter. Washington scored eight of the points for the Dragons, who were also hampered by the Hawks having an 8-0 advantage in free throw attempts in the frame as Monmouth led by nine points after 10 minutes.
- Things improved to start the second quarter as DU connected on three of six shots to open the frame. The Dragons' defense was also a key in the period as Drexel held Monmouth without a field goal in the final 5:40 of the stanza.
- The Hawks extended their lead early in the third, going up 45-36 with 3:50 remaining before Drexel went on a 10-3 run to end the quarter, including the final six points as the lead was sliced to a pair with 10 minutes remaining.
- In the fourth, Washington once again came to life scoring 15. DU kept the game close, not allowing Monmouth more than a five-point lead, but for every Dragons' run, the Hawks had an answer, creating the final score.
