No. 7 Men's Squash Tangles With No. 3 Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 7 Drexel men's squash team took a close battle into the later matches, but DU was upended by the No. 3 Princeton Tigers 6-3 on Tuesday evening.
The Dragons got on the board first in the seventh position as Noel Heaton rallied from 2-1 down for a 5-11, 11-4, 6-11, 11-8, 11-6 victory against Gordan Lam. Following that was Yuri Pelbart who took an 11-9, 6-11, 11-8, 11-9 win at number four versus Ahmed Wael.
Drexel took a 3-2 lead as Matias Knudsen swept Daelum Mawji, winning the first two games 11-9 and 11-5 before outlasting Mawji 18-16 in the third. Unfortunately, the Tigers rallied, winning the final four matches to take the overall result.
Next up for the Dragons is the CSA Team Championships to be held February 24-26 in Hartford, Conn.
