Men's Squash Begins Potter Cup Run

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Drexel men's squash team got its championship run at the Potter Cup underway on Friday afternoon as the Dragons were upended by Penn, 7-2.
Matias Knudsen and Noel Heaton earned points for DU on the afternoon. Knudsen came away with an 11-6, 11-6, 11-6 victory in the number one position against Nathan Tze Bing Kueh. Heaton earned a 3-1 win against Tushar Shahani in the seventh position, claiming a 7-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-9 result.
Three other matches were hotly contested as Fritiof Jacobsson, Filip Krueger and Gautam Nagpal each extended their contests to a fifth game.
Drexel is back in action on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. against either Princeton or Trinity.
RESULTS
