No. 4 Women's Squash Battles No. 5 Virginia at CSA Championships

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 4 Drexel women's squash team went to the final point against No. 5 Virginia, but the Dragons were upended 5-4 in the opening match of the College Squash Association team championships on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
The bottom of the ladder shined for the Dragons who got wins at numbers seven, eight and nine. In the seventh position Moa Bonnemark came away with a 12-10, 11-9, 13-11 sweep against Maureen Foley. At number eight, Sanya Vats won 11-0, 11-9, 6-11, 12-10. Lydia Robinson posted an 11-6, 11-4, 5-11, 9-11, 11-7 victory in the ninth spot.
Also winning for Drexel was Margot Prow, who claimed an 11-9, 11-7, 10-12, 11-13, 11-9 win against Emma Jinks at number four. It was Prow's second consecutive victory against Jinks this season.
The Dragons now move to the consolation bracket where they will face No. 8 Yale on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
