No. 4 Women's Squash Downs No. 8 Yale at CSA Championships

PHILADELPHIA – Quickly putting yesterday behind it, the No. 4 Drexel women's squash team downed the No. 8 Yale Bulldogs 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at the College Squash Association team championships.
The top of the ladder got the job done for the Dragons against the Bulldogs. At number one, Alina Bushma recorded an 11-7, 11-9, 11-7 win against Elizabeth Ross. Karina Tyma posted an 11-8, 11-4, 11-1 victory against Sneha Sivakumar in the second position. In the fourth spot, Dina Rosli came away with a 9-11, 11-2, 11-7, 11-8 final against Brianna Jefferson.
Showing its depth, Drexel also performed well at the bottom of the ladder. Lydia Robinson picked up her second straight win with an 11-5, 11-7, 11-6 result against Linsdey Westerfeld at number eight. In the ninth position, Ciara Richards came from 0-2 down to defeat Joy Qu 7-11, 11-13, 11-9, 11-6, 11-3 for the reverse sweep.
Also picking up victories for DU were Emma Bartley who won 3-2 at number five and Margot Prow in the third position.
With the win, the Dragons will face No. 7 Columbia in the fifth-place match on Sunday. Opening serve is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
