Three Dragons Named Scholar All-Americans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Drexel seniors Ross Blumenthal, Jack Mulcahy and Patrick Udovich have been named Scholar All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

All three student-athletes were starters on this year's team that finished second in the Colonial Athletic Association. They were also key members of the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association championship team. This season, Mulcahy was a First Team All-CAA selection and led the Dragons with 21 assists. He finished his career tied for eighth all time in assists at Drexel and 17th in career points. Udovich was a Second Team All-CAA pick on defense for the Dragons. Blumenthal was a five-year starter in the cage and had 561 career saves.

The USILA Scholar All-America program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens in their local communities. The USILA Selection Committee chooses three overall teams from Divisions I, III, and III.

A Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and must be a student with at least a senior year academic standing with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
