PHILADELPHIA - Val Van Hellemont scored on a corner headed into the final period, but Drexel was upended 2-1 against La Salle on Sunday afternoon. Drexel holds the series advantage, 18-8 against the Explorers but falls to 1-1 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

La Salle took an early lead after a pair of goals in the first period.
As the clock expired in the third, the Dragons were able to cause a penalty corner. Natali Foster sent a pass to Van Hellemont in front of the cage to cut the Explorers' lead to one with 15 minutes to play.
DU's offense kept pressure on La Salle with six shots in the second half.
The game ended with four unsuccessful corner opportunities for the Dragons.
