PHILADELPHIA - The Dragons dropped an overtime heartbreaker following an overturned goal in extra time. Liz Chipman tallied in the first half but it was not enough as Drexel fell 2-1, against the Quakers from the campus of UPenn on Sunday afternoon. DU holds a 4-2 record as it enters conference play.

BY THE NUMBERS

The Dragons' defense held the Quakers to one corner in regulation and three overall.
Natali Foster has earned at least one point in all six contests.
Drexel held a 13 to 9 shot advantage over Penn.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Chipman struck first in the final minute of the opening frame with assists from Stephanie Oleykowski and Foster. Drexel held an early one-goal advantage into halftime as the defense held Penn scoreless in the first half.
UPenn tied the game on a corner opportunity in the 42nd minute.
Both teams kept the pressure on but were unable to take the lead as the contest headed to sudden victory.
In the third minute of overtime, Pien Elsen found the back of the cage as the Dragons appeared to have taken the match. After video review, the golden goal was overturned as the referees ruled, the ball did not go fully outside the circle before the shot.
The Quakers scored with under five minutes left in the extra period.
