Perrotto Scores Late Game Winner as Dragons Take Road Win at UMass Lowell

LOWELL, Mass. – Gabrielle Perrotto scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute as the Drexel women's soccer team downed the UMass Lowell River Hawks 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
After a scoreless 70 minutes, the Dragons were able to convert on a corner kick. Lily Dunbar served the ball into the mixer where it went off several players for both teams. Perrotto was the one who was able to settle the ball at her foot and poke it past the keeper into the fer left corner for a 1-0 Drexel lead.
Joelle Chase recorded four saves for DU for her first solo shutout as a member of the Blue and Gold.
The Dragons return to action and begin CAA play on Thursday, September 7. Opening tap from Vidas Field is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
