Dragons Upended By William & Mary

PHILADELPHIA – Casey Touey scored her second goal of the season in the 18th minute, but a goal in each half by William & Mary saw the Tribe prevail 2-1 in the CAA opener for each team.
Midway through the first half, Meg Tate sent a ball into the area. Touey settled the ball and was able to send a right-footed shot past the keeper for a 1-0 Dragons lead. Late in the half, William & Mary knotted the score at 1-1 in the 31st minute. A tally in the 59th minute for the Tribe proved to be the deciding score.
Molly Piso made four saves in net during the opening 45 minutes for DU.
Drexel returns to action on Sunday when it travels to Northeastern. Opening tap from Brookline, Mass. is slated for noon.
