HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - Eline Di Leva scored with under twenty seconds in overtime two as Drexel downed Hofstra 2-1, for its fourth straight victory on Saturday afternoon. The contest secured DU's second CAA win of the season as the team improved to 8-3 and 2-1 in conference play.

BY THE NUMBERS

Di Leva has scored at least two points in the last four games.
DU's defense held Hofstra to five shots and one penalty corner in the contest.
The win marks the 26th time Drexel has defeated the Pride.
Hadfield stopped three saves in cage to lower her goals against average to 1.03.

HOW IT HAPPENED

In the closing seconds of the opening quarter, Di Leva found the back of the cage to give the Dragons an early 1-0 advantage.
Hofstra tied the game in the 50th minute after a DU foul.
The game entered overtime following three saves by the HU goalkeeper in the final three minutes.
In OT2, the contest was seconds from headed into shootouts, but Di Leva found her rebound off a save and fired it past the Hofstra goalie for the game-winning goal.

The Dragons have a quick turn around as they travel to Staten Island tomorrow on Sunday, October 1, to face non-conference opponent, Wagner. Game time is scheduled for Noon and will be available to watch on NEC Front Row.
