STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Eline Di Leva's goal in the 44th minute ignited Drexel to its fifth consecutive victory as DU defeated Wagner 3-2, on Sunday afternoon. The team improved to 9-3 on the season in the inaugural matchup between the two teams. Marti Sanabria and Natali Foster added tallies in the contest.

BY THE NUMBERS

Di Leva has scored in the last five games for a total of 14 points.
DU's defense held WC to nine shots and three penalty corner in the contest.
The Dragons recorded 19 shots and 11 penalty corners, including a pair that resulted in goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Seahawks were on the board first with a score in the 18th minute.
Natali Foster earned her ninth goal of the season with assists to Di Leva and Stephanie Oleykowski off the penalty corner. The score was tied at one headed into halftime.
In the 35th minute, Marti Sanabria tallied after her shot snuck past the Wagner goalkeeper to give Drexel a 2-1 advantage.
WC evened the score in the 42nd minute on a penalty corner opportunity.
With 16 seconds left in the third quarter, Di Leva gave DU a 3-2 lead on her sixth tally this fall.
