No. 8 Women's Squash Falls to No. 3 Princeton 5-4 In Tight Matchup

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 8 Drexel women's squash team fell to the No. 3 Princeton Tigers at home Tuesday night by a score of 5-4. With the loss, the Dragons dropped down to 3-5 while the Tigers improved their record to 4-0.
Sanya Vats got a victory for the Dragons in the three as she defeated Emma Trauber 9-11, 11-4, 11-9, 5-11, 11-6. Emi Falconi also went the distance for the Dragons in the six spot as she was able to defeat Molly Chadwick, 12-10, 5-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-5. In the two spot, Karina Tyma was able to rally back against Liyen Teoh, winning by a score of 9-11, 4-11, 11-6, 11-7, 11-8. Lastly, Margot Prow who secured the victory in the one spot as she was victorious against Zeina Zein, scoring 11-5, 10-12, 7-11, 11-8, 11-7.
Up next, the Dragons will stay home in Philadelphia to take on Georgetown on Sunday, Jan. 28. Action is slated to start at 12:00 p.m.
