No.10 Women's Squash Blanks No. 16 Georgetown in 9-0 Shutout

PHILADELPHIA –The No. 10 women's squash team secured the win against No. 16 Georgetown on Sunday afternoon by a score of 9-0. With the win, the Dragons improved their record to 4-5 on the season while the Hoyas dropped to 8-6.
Moa Bonnemark started things off for the Dragons in the five spot, as she took down Lindsay Lee 11-8, 11-2, 11-4. Up next was Emma Bartley as she defeated Ella Schoonmaker in the four spot by a score of 9-11, 11-8, 11-5, 11-4. Following Bartley was Emi Falconi in the six spot who was victorious against Katie Hennesey, earning the sweep by a score of 11-7, 11-3, 12-10. After Falconi, Lydia Robinson picked up the win in the seven spot, taking down Sydney Bramen 11-5, 11-6, 11-4.
Claudia Adam was next as the freshman was victorious against Aalia Hisain in the nine spot, 11-2, 11-3, 11-7. In the eight spot, Dina Rosli secured the victory against Eena Yu 11-3, 11-2, 11-2. Following this up was Karina Tyma in the two spot as she earned the win against Brianna Jefferson by a score 11-4, 11-6, 11-4. Lastly, Margot Prow clinched the sweep for the Dragons in the one spot, going the distance against Jesse Brownell, 11-6, 7-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-5.
Up next, the Dragons will stay home to take on Harvard on Saturday, February 17. Action is set to start at 11:00 a.m.
