Denise Zelenak Wins Her 300th Career Game As Drexel Defeated Wagner In Double Overtime, 2-1

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel field hockey came from behind to defeat Wagner in double overtime 2-1 on senior day to move to 13-4 on the season. The win today marks head coach Denise Zelenak's 300th career win. The Dragons finish the regular season with an impressive 10-1 record at home.
Drexel recognized seven seniors pregame: Kenzie Lever, Aren Dardarian, Amanda Foster, Tina Rawa, Stephanie Oleykowski, Michela Favazza and Liz Chipman.
The senior day excitement did not last long for Drexel as an early goal in the third minute put Wagner up 1-0.
In the second quarter, a great corner set by the Dragons tied the game at one as Marti Sanabria and Tina Rawa assisted Natali Foster.
The score stayed 1-1 through the rest of regulation and the first overtime.
In the second overtime, Anna Castaldo attacked the net and notched the game-winning goal for Drexel.
