Women's Squash Sweeps Haverford 9-0 in Opening Match

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel women's squash team opened their season competing in the Pennsylvania State Classic against Haverford. The Dragons swept Black Squirrels 9-0 and did not even lose a set.
Dina Rosli got the scoring started, defeating Ariana Solecki, 11-2, 11-6, 11-3. Maddie Laine dominated her match up with Matilda Charter 11-0,11-0, 11-1. Awande Malinga picked up her first win as a Dragon defeating Zoe Liu 11-4, 11-1, 11-2.
Eveli Malk and Ariyan Irani closed out the sweep for the Dragons defeating their opponents in three sets.
Day two for the Dragons begins at 10:00am against Dickinson and 2:30pm against Penn.
