Women's Squash Completes Day Two of Pennsylvania State Classic

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's squash team went 1-1 on the day at the Pennsylvania State Classic, defeating Dickinson 8-1 and falling to Penn 7-2. The Dragons move to 2-1 on the year.
Emma Bartley was victorious in the first match of the day, earning a hard-fought win over Kathryn Hering. The junior defeated her opponent in four sets,14-12, 11-7, 9-11, 11-5. Seven other Dragons won in straight sets against Dickinson.
Lydia Robinson and Claudia Adams both won their matches against Penn. Robinson defeated Penn's Jana Dweek, winning in the fifth set, 7-11, 12-10, 11-9, 10-12, 11-7.
The Pennsylvania State Classic continues tomorrow as The Dragons will take on Chatham at 9 a.m. and finish the event against Franklin Marshall at 1 p.m.
