Men's Squash Splits Matches Against Dickinson and Penn

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's squash team split their matches on Saturday, defeating Dickinson 9-0 but falling to Penn 8-1 on day two of the Pennsylvania State Classic.
Saturday's event was dedicated to former Dragon Filip Kruger, who passed away in April. Head coach John White, former teammates, and Filip's parents helped honor Filip with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating his life by naming the court in his name.
All nine Dragons took care of their opponents from Dickinson in dominant fashion, with each winning in straight sets. Sean Murphy was the loan Dragons to secure a victory in match two, defeating Penn's Roger Alber Baddour, 8-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-7.
Drexel finishes the Pennsylvania State Classic tomorrow, taking on Chatham at 9 a.m. and Franklin and Marshall at 1:00 p.m.
