
Women's Swimming and Diving Wrapped Up the Bruno Invite in Third Place

PROVIDENCE, RI- The Drexel women's swimming and diving team completed the final day of the Bruno Invite. The Dragons finished third in standings with 698 points.
Two Dragons broke school records on the final day of the Bruno Invite. Megan Ehrnfeldt swam a 1:59.41 in the 200 butterfly and Brittany Corbett hit the wall at 16:36.67 in the 1650 freestyle. Corbett added a gold medal to her new record and Ehrnfeldt finished fifth after her record prelim.
Also in the 1650 freestyle, Harper Barrowman finished fourth with a time of 16:54.68.
In the 100 freestyle, Mari Alencar earned a silver medal with a time of 49.84, improving from her second-place prelim seed of 50.01. Alencar was joined in the A-final by Megan Ehrnfeldt, who placed eighth with a time of 51.70. The team of Liv Scherbin, Delaney Leonard, Megan Ehrnfeldt, and Mari Alencar capped off the day with a bronze medal in the 400 Freestyle Relay, finishing with a time of 3:24.19.
Federica Nocera added a fourth-place finish in the 200 backstroke, clocking in at 1:57.64 after qualifying fourth in prelims with a time of 1:58.24. Emma Pillich secured a fourth-place finish in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:18.03, while Ali Bragg also represented Drexel in the A-final, finishing eighth with a time of 2:20.88.
Lizzie McDevitt placed seventh in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:53.38.
Next for the Dragons will be hosting Leigh on December 7th.
